Whether you are a seasoned Yogi looking to refresh your practice, or you wish to review the fundamentals of yoga as you begin a steady, more regular practice, our Yoga Foundation Series will boost your physical, mental and spiritual benefits.

Join Caroline McCann for a four-week Yoga Foundations Series on Monday evenings from 7:15 to 8:30 PM at ZURA (July 10, 17, 24 and 31). Each of the 75-minute information-packed classes will focus on a different area of the body: Hands & Feet, Knees, Hips & Low Back, and finally, Shoulders & Neck.

Caroline will lead students through a discussion of the anatomy of the basic asanas (yoga poses) and will offer drills to strengthen and create space within the body to better achieve the poses. Students of the workshop series will also be introduced to the first four Yoga Sutras (yoga philosophy). This will be an interactive, workshop-style class and each class will end with the practice of a brief sequence of poses accessible to all levels. 

By the end of the series, even the most inflexible or skeptical new yogi is likely to stand a bit taller, to have found space within their body to breathe more fully, to release physical and mental tensions more easily, and hopefully, to find their "OM" on and off the yoga mat more readily.

The cost for the 4 week series is $65 (not included in unlimited or class packages).
