Ora Kemp began practicing yoga in 2006 and received her yoga certification (RYT 200) in 2015 and her advanced training (RYT 500) in 2017. Both certifications were completed at JaiPure Yoga in Montclair, NJ under the direction and guidance of Marcie Wallace and Loryn Riggiola. Focusing on alignment, breath and movement, Ora strives to create a learning environment which is both mentally engaging and physically challenging. Her journey in yoga has led her to gain mental strength and she believes in yoga's ability to strengthen and train the mind to achieve success both on and off the mat.
Ora's formal education is built on her Bachelor's in Nutrition and Food Science with a Minor in Public Health. She completed her Master's in Public Health with a focus in Community Health Education in 2017, and is currently a PhD student at Rutgers University studying Urban Health. She is an avid believer in the principles of complete wellness, incorporating awareness and cultivating intention in all areas of life. While teaching her vinyasa style yoga, she tries to weave together dharma and intention for a conscious practice. She is passionate about the ability to bring yoga's lessons into the daily living and connecting to something greater than the self.
