Elise began her movement journey at a young age, competing, performing, and teaching various styles of dance throughout her life until college. After taking Pilates and yoga as electives at school, her interest in these practices lead her to the studio in 2015. Her appreciation for movement paved the way of her career choice and she recently completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in October of 2018. While completing her degree, she continued to practice at Zura, gravitating especially toward vinyasa-style classes, such as Rhythm Fire.

She was trained by Rebecca Frezza (Zura owner) specifically for Rhythm Fire. With her knowledge of the body, love for expression, and personal connection to movement, she is honored to accept the torch to guide others in finding their inner rhythm and further explore the connection between mind, body, and movement.
